We are a leading manufacturer of high-quality injection molding components, proudly serving esteemed clients such as Bajaj, Mahindra, TATA, TAFE, Motherson, Varroc, and others. With five manufacturing plants across Maharashtra, including one located in Aurangabad, we are continually expanding our team to meet growing customer demands. We currently have openings for the following positions in our Production Department: 1. Assistant Manager – Production 2. Senior Engineer – Production Key roles and responsibilitiesProduction planning and management - Manage daily operations: Supervise the entire plastic molding process, including mold setup, machine operation, and quality control checks.
- Create production schedules: Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and delivery targets.
- Oversee inventory: Control the inventory of raw materials and finished goods to ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Track performance: Monitor and report on key production metrics, such as overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), to senior management.
Quality assurance and process optimization - Enforce quality standards: Ensure all products meet internal specifications and industry standards, such as ISO/IATF certifications.
- Minimize waste: Drive initiatives to minimize scrap and material wastage at all stages of production.
- Troubleshoot issues: Identify the root cause of common injection molding defects (e.g., flash, short shots, and sink marks) and implement corrective actions.
- Implement continuous improvement: Lead initiatives like Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall processes.
Team leadership and development - Supervise staff: Manage and supervise a team of engineers, technicians, and operators on the shop floor.
- Provide training: Train and mentor team members on injection molding processes, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Build a positive culture: Motivate and develop employees through training and performance reviews.
- Ensure safety: Promote and enforce a strong safety culture in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaboration and communication - Communicate across departments: Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Manage customer relations: Review and resolve customer complaints, interacting with customers as needed to provide solutions.
- Coordinate with suppliers: Work with material suppliers and toolmakers on material selection and new tool trials.
Equipment and maintenance - Manage equipment: Oversee the operation, maintenance, and calibration of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Coordinate maintenance: Work with the maintenance team to schedule preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize machine breakdowns and downtime.
- Manage tooling: Supervise the tool room, including the maintenance, repair, and modification of molds to ensure optimal performance.
