It is in the Officers Cadre (Group B) in the Pay Scale of Rs. 21750 - 65000. The Position Profile is as follows:
Maximum Age: 25 years as on 06.01.2023 Minimum Qualification: Diploma [Undergraduate - Engineering]*** -Mechanical Minimum Post Qualification Experience (years): 1 year as on 06.01.2023 Preferred Experience: 1 Year experience in shop -floor in production role, onus is on candidate to satisfy himself/herself that his/ her competencies are as per the job requirements
Indicative Job Description: The incumbent shall be responsible for: 1. Managing, supervising, operating entire manufacturing activities in assigned work sections 2. Hands-on plant shift operations to achieve production target for assigned work area 3. Carrying out all necessary operations in relatively independent fashion as may be required for ensuring achievement of daily / weekly/ monthly production targets, including but not limited to: a. Ensuring attendance and focused application of engineering and other competencies for the entire duration of work in flexible shifts, daily/ weekly schedules or otherwise, to fulfil the production and related targets, exercising discipline in matters of attendance and leave ensuring these do not interfere with achievement of work targets b. Ensuring daily/ hands-on/ preventive/ break-down maintenance, daily cleaning, lubrication, tightening, testing, sampling, trial production, inspection, data collection, reporting, data entry in system etc. to be carried out before/after normal production hours or on weekly-off day or without interfering with normal production time c. Keeping fully updated of production requirements, plans, schedules, sales plans, specific customer requirements, material and product specifications and aligning production efforts accordingly, proactively seeking complete information and support from seniors and all other departments as may be required for same d. Arranging, bringing, taking delivery of/ shifting materials, WIPs, removing waste materials etc. using hands-on or driving sophisticated material handling equipment viz. fork-lifts, pallet trucks, cranes etc., before/ after normal production hours or during idle time or without interfering with normal production time e. Arranging for consumables, services, support, contractor staff, utilities, equipment and all inputs to production before/ after normal production hours or during idle time or without interfering with normal production time production time and in accordance with production schedule or plan, change-over requirement, customer requirements and specifications f. Hands-on Machine starting, setting, change-overs, trial production etc. using sophisticated engineering machine and interfaces sampling, inspection, corrections, reporting on production or product parameters all as per SOPs and as may be required - before normal production hours or without interfering with normal production time g. Ensuring assigned work section is never left unattended, never leaving job unfinished till the assigned task or target is completed in its entirety, never allowing input, process or output to be other than as per required quality, never allowing productivity to fall below established/ required stands 4. Achieving physical and budgetary parameters in area of operation including yields, machine availability, rejection etc. 5. Effective utilization of services of contractors or their manpower through concerned contractors' supervisors etc. 6. Maintaining timely data, generating required MIS regarding area of operation 7. Participation in Operational Excellence activities 8. Implementing 5 S in assigned area 9. Complete compliance with Employee Health Safety Policy; ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment 10. Actively seek, obtain and learn from Company Manuals, Process documents, SOPs, HSE guidelines, Policies, MSDSs, Performance and 11. review processes, Conduct and Discipline rules, peer/ internal/ external training opportunities, work related Acts and rules and from colleagues, to obtain all guidance, training and inputs for successful completion of all job responsibilities 12. Understand clearly and utilize/ comply with available policies, health, safety, welfare, progression, feedback, and other engagement facilities and forums for ensuring proper management of work stresses and professionally resolving any work related issue. COMPENSATION Grade(s) : O1 Basic Scale (Rs.) : 21750-65000 Initial Basic Pay (Rs.) : Rs. 21750 CTC at the beginning of the scale (Rs / lakhs per annum) : 6.05 - 6.52 Lakhs per annum CTC shall include Basic Pay, DA, HRA, Other Perks & Allowances, Performance Related Pay, encashment of earned leaves, work related benefits and Retiral benefits as applicable in the grade as per rules of the Company. All the benefits will be governed by the policy of the Company in force and as amended from time to time. Candidates employed with Government Departments/ CPSUs / Autonomous Bodies are required to apply through proper channel, obtaining necessary No Objection Certificate (NOC) which is required to be submitted at the time of the Written Test. PLACE OF POSTING The initial place of posting may be in Taloja.
